Wins for Kansas: Futures Unlimited

Wins for Kansas: Futures Unlimited

We’re thrilled to share that Futures Unlimited was featured on KAKE-TV’s Wins for Kansas, highlighting our preschool program and the grant we received to honor our beloved late teacher, Lori Gragert, whom we lost suddenly last November.
This special grant provided funds to create “Lori’s Library,” a tribute space in Lori’s honor, where preschoolers can curl up with new and exciting books to support ongoing early education activities, ensuring Lori’s passion for literacy continues to inspire young minds every day.
Lori poured her heart into teaching preschoolers—sparking curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child who walked through her doors. This grant lets us carry her legacy forward while expanding quality education for young learners in our community.
Watch the full feature HERE to see how Lori’s memory lives on, and thank you for helping us keep her spirit smiling in our Kennedy classroom.
